September 8 - Mother and Child Playgroup at 10:00am

September 9 - WHY Bible Study 6:00-7:30pm 9th grade - college; Band Practice 7:30-9:00

Third Annual Horseshoe Tournament - September 12, 2010 - We will be enjoying our Church service in the backyard, weather permitting. This will be followed by a nice lunch served in the fellowship hall. While we are making our root beer and orange sodafloats, for desert, we will be choosing teams based on a random draw. Come fellowship with us and enjoy a timeless game everyone can play. If you don’t feel up to the competition it is very entertaining to watch and a wonderful time to visit with friends. Last year we had some spectacular prizes and expect some great donations again this year. Please call the church for details. This event will begin with worship service at 10:00 AM, followed by lunch at 12 noon and games to begin at 1:00 PM

September 17-18 - Women's Retreat

September 19th - Fall Schedule begins ... Sunday School at 10:00am and Worship Service at 11:00am

September 22 - Quilting 10:00am

September 22 - Adult Bible Study - 6:30pm

September 22 - Jump Club Family Pizza Party - games, food, and registration, 6:30 - 8:00 pm

September 23 - WHY Bible Study 6:00-7:30pm 9th grade - college; Band Practice 7:30-9:00

September 24-25 - Men's Retreat

September 26-27 - Sleepover at Church for kids 6th - 8th grade. Begins 6:00pm on the 26th and ends after breakfast on the 27th at 9:00am

September 29 - Adult Bible Study - 6:30pm

September 29th - JUMP begins 6:30-8:00pm - for age 4 through 8th grade.

September 30 - WHY Bible Study 6:00-7:30pm 9th grade - college; Band Practice 7:30-9:00

September - October WHY Activities Calendar

Regularly scheduled activities

Wiley Heights Youth (WHY) - Meets weekly for fun, fellowship and activities. Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm at the church

JUMP Club and Jr. WHY - is a program for kids age 4 - 8th grade that meets for fun, worship and bible study. Meets during the school year on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for ages 4 to 5th grade.

Quilting B - 1st and 4th Wednesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Bring a sack lunch.

Women's Ministries - meets every other month, usually on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am

Union Gospel Mission Services - third Thursday of every other month

Executive Committee meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The individual boards and the general board meeting will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Seasonal Activities

Each year the congregation enjoys the fellowship of believers on the special celebrations of Easter and Christmas.
