Juuly 25th - No WHY
July 23-26 - Creation Concert series at the George Amphitheatre. Cost $140.00 per person everyone welcome. This includes Camping, gas, food, and concert tickets all four days. What a great deal!!

August 2008
August 4th & 5th - Back To Scuba Party from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Come enjoy a mini VBS program open to everyone 4 years old through those entering 5th grade.
August 8th and 9th - Princess Party for Middle School and Junior High girls. Overnight campout at the church. We will be celebrating the fact we are children of God this makes us a princess and a daughter of the King! We will be celebrating our royalty, playing games, and enjoying eac hothers company. 7 pm Friday through 7 am Saturday. Breakfast at 6 am.
August 28th - WHY Open House from 7:00 to 9:00 - All church social event our goal to meet the new parents of the 6th graders entering the WHY program introduce to them and the entire congregation to what we do on Thursday nights. Opportunity to meet and greet each other. We will be looking at the teaching format of the two groups WHY 9th - 12th grade and JR WHY 6th - 8th grade. I encourage everyone to attend this fun and informative event. This will be structured as an open house geared toward the adults present.
September 2008
September 7th - Horseshoe Tournament - Hosted by Becky and Chawley Thomas at their home 9810 Ridgeway Rd. We will have sign up sheets soon, so be forming your teams. Come fellowship with us and enjoy a timeless game everyone can play. During the competition we will be providing dinner and can enjoy watching the playoffs in the backyard. This is a great time to invite a friend to come and meet your church family. (possible date change)

Heights Youth (WHY) - Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm at the church
Quilting B - 1st and 4th Wednesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Bring a sack lunch.
FABs - every other month on a Saturday morning for breakfast
Women's Ministries - meets every other month
Union Gospel Mission Services - third Thursday of every other month
WHCC Softball Team plays many Tuesday evenings throughout the summer
Executive Committee meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The individual boards and the general board meeting will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Seasonal Activities
Each year the congregation enjoys the fellowship of believers on the special celebrations of Easter and Christmas.
