Women Ministries gather to measure, cut and roll bandages from donated used sheets for medical use in Africa. We ship the completed bandage rolls to the main office of the Covenant church in Chicago, Illinois. They, in turn, send them to hospitals and medical facilities in Africa.

Cotton sheets are ripped in long strips

Sheets that can't be ripped must be marked before cutting

Care is taken to ensure uniformity in size for more consistent results

The strips are sewed together to create longer strips.

The long strips are rolled around pencils to create the bandage rolls
