FABs
stands for "fifty and better" (as in more or older!). Those
in the congregation that are fifty and better are welcome to join.
Our meetings are informal gatherings for the purpose of fellowship and encouragement We meet once every every 4-6 weeks (approximately) for a breakfast meeting during the fall and winter months. The buffet breakfast is followed by a program of about 15 to 20 minutes, which is usually music or a speaker.
FABs also holds an annual BBQ picnic meeting in the summer at the home of one of the members.
Some
of our number have been involved in smaller group activities, including
a cruise to Alaska, and the Canadian sponsored Fifty Plus Weekend Retreats
held each fall near Banff, Alberta.

50+ Fall Festival 2003
Thursday, October 16th FABs members Russ and Gladys Carlson, Pastor Jo, Dan Snipes, Ruth Milton, Mildred Hembree and Marian Anderson traveled via two vehicles to Sandpoint, Idaho and on Friday to Canmore, Alberta for the 50+ Fall Festival. They appreciated the excellent speakers, quartet music and fellowship with friends - and delicious food. The scenery was spectacular with the fall colors.
