Shel & Kym serve over 20 churches with the Dorobo Tribe and are involved with church planting and discipling. Kym is a consultant to missionary moms who are homeschooling their kids. In addition Kym works with a group using environmental clubs and camps to show Africa's young children who God is and our part in following him and caring for creation. They have 4 grown children.

Shel has four children's adventure books about missionary kids growing up in Kenya. They are also great for showing kids and their parents what mission work is really like. The titles are:

Shel has also written a book on improving your walk with God by having personal prayer retreats. The book gives practical ways to spend time alone with God and includes numerous examples of people who have prayed including some from our lives on the mission field. The book is called: Come Away
